Better Windings and Smoother Brushes
The winding process and carbon brush are two areas that differ from a standard regulator. A standard regulator does not require the same level of winding precision. This unit uses a more uniform coil winding density and a flatter carbon brush contact surface. These changes reduce contact resistance and help reduce output voltage ripple.
The output voltage is maintained at 380V instead of fluctuating between 379V and 381V. This difference is important for precision instruments.
