Dry Cell Transformer
No Oil Means No Fire Risk
Wenzhou Mingyue Electric Co., Ltd. manufactures this Dry Cell Transformer for indoor applications. Unlike an oil-immersed transformer, it contains no oil, so there is no risk of oil leakage or the need for a fire pit.
This makes it suitable for workshops, power distribution rooms, basements, and other indoor locations. The SG-150KVA unit uses a dry-type structure. The capacity ranges from 5kVA to 2,000kVA. The input voltage can be configured according to your site requirements, including 380V, 400V, 415V, and 480V.
The output voltage is also customizable, with 220V, 380V, and 400V available.
Copper Windings and Air Cooling
The transformer uses pure copper windings. Copper has good electrical conductivity and generates less heat than aluminum at the same power rating. The insulation class is available in F and H grades. F class has a temperature rating of 155°C, while H class has a temperature rating of 180°C. The appropriate class can be selected according to the working conditions.
The standard cooling method is natural air cooling. Airflow carries heat away from the windings, so no cooling fan is required during normal operation. This also avoids fan noise and fan failure. If the installation room has a high ambient temperature or the cabinets are installed close together, cooling fans can be added for forced-air cooling. The connection group supports Yyn0 and Dyn11. Yyn0 is the standard option, while Dyn11 can be selected for applications requiring harmonic resistance or serving many single-phase loads.
Tested, Protected, and Custom Built
We are based in Liushi Town, Yueqing City and have 7 years of experience. Our plant covers 1,000 square meters and has 20 employees. We have our own R&D team. Before the Dry Cell Transformer leaves the factory, it must pass a 2500V power-frequency withstand voltage test. We also inspect 100% of the products before packing. We provide a 5-year warranty. If goods are damaged during shipping, we repair or remake them at our factory and cover the freight cost.
The cabinet uses cold-rolled steel plate with cooling louvers on the sides. Hot air rises while cool air enters from below, allowing natural airflow through the cabinet. The panel has a voltmeter and a run indicator light for checking the operating status. The Dry Cell Transformer provides harmonic and spike suppression to reduce interference from the grid and protect downstream automatic equipment.
