Many machines are imported from overseas, and their working voltage may not match the local power grid in China. For example, some machines require 400V or 480V input, while the local grid provides 380V.
This unit resolves the voltage difference by reducing the input voltage to the required level. It is an SG series three-phase dry-type isolation transformer. The capacity ranges from 5kVA to 200kVA. You only need to provide the required capacity.
The winding uses pure copper coils. Copper has good electrical conductivity and helps reduce heat generation, which can extend the service life of the unit. The insulation class is F, with a temperature rating of up to 155°C. It operates normally under standard working conditions.
Real Electrical Isolation with Clear Benefits
This High Voltage Step Down Transformer differs from a standard transformer mainly because of its electrical isolation. The primary and secondary sides have no direct electrical connection. Energy is transferred through a magnetic field. This structure provides two main benefits. First, harmonics, voltage spikes, and interference from the grid are blocked before they reach the downstream equipment.
Second, if a fault occurs on the output side, the electrical fault does not directly travel back through the input line. This also helps protect the upstream equipment.
The connection group is Yyn0, which is a standard connection method and makes cabinet integration easier. The cooling method is natural air cooling (AN), so no fan is required. This eliminates fan noise and avoids problems caused by fan failure. The cabinet uses cold-rolled steel plate. The bottom has casters and support feet, allowing the unit to be moved to the required position. The support feet can then be lowered and fixed to keep the cabinet stable.
